RPL for Access

This is a process of formal recognition and verification of individuals who deserve credit for their competences and skills they have gained over years of experience. RPL for Access is used to provide for the awarding of access by an accredited IIA SA Skills Development Provider (SDP) to:

• Provide an alternative access route into IIA SA occupational qualifications for candidates who do not meet the formal minimum requirements for admission to the internal audit Learning Programmes offered by the IIA SA Skills Development Provider (SDP).

• To provides access to the IIA SA External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) Occupational Qualifications examinations. Candidates who already have experience and skills may be granted admission to the IIA SA EISA examinations via the SDP for “RPL for EISA Access”. Candidates must apply via the SDP for preparation for EISA, they will receive a Statement of Results from the SDP providing EISA Readiness for admission to the IIA SA EISA examinations.
